Cannot stop my thoughts when I’m alone. So search my pockets for my phone. See if someone likes the pictures that I post; A mindless loop of narcissistic hope. Cycle through cliched overplayed tropes from people that I hardly know; a two way mirror is hiding all of your new scars. Breezing past your perfect well groomed life; displaying your magic lit eyes inside the camera for your stranger friends to see.

Stardust 04:36
Never had a chance to say goodbye call you on the phone and tell you how much I miss your smile. I wonder where stardust goes when it dies? Does it wander off or does it embed itself inside? Are you gone forever now that you died? Do you peak within the thoughts that plague my troubled mind? I await the hope that when I die you will hold my hand and lead me across the fading light. I see you in the glistening sunlight. Is my imagination just playing tricks within my eyes?

We’re lost in the fog And we’ll crawl our way back to the stars Now it’s been so long Since things felt like when we were young. Gotta make time Try to make gains Cannot lose the world Driving our cars on the wrong way Four alarm bells Shake our heads wincing in the pain Speaking our oath on a wednesday Yesterday We’re lost in the fog And we’ll crawl our way back to the stars. Why can't you love the feeling inside when you know it ain’t done you wrong? Why can’t you be the happiness inside you wish that they would see? We’re lost in the fog And we’ll crawl our way back to the stars Now it’s been so long Since things felt like when we were young. Time to wake up Cannot see straight Bought to lose our heads From the high crimes that they perpetrate Gotta seek change Never tempt fate Can’t erase facts To alleviate sins that they validate We’re lost in the fog And we’ll crawl our way back to the stars Now it’s been so long Since things felt like when we were young. Why can't you love the feeling inside when you know it ain’t done you wrong? Why can’t you be the happiness inside you wish that they would see? Away, I wanna go back to the way it was yesterday. Away, I wanna go back to the way it was yesterday. Away, I wanna go back to the way it was yesterday. Away, I wanna go back to the way it was yesterday.

I woke up in the rain When I felt it stinging my face I sat up where I lay while I shook off the dreams that I chased My head is swimming in place as I get my bearings straight I know I’ve seen this place somewhere but it’s never the same Cobwebs are falling out of your ears Blackbirds are nesting on your head. I woke up in the rain But I couldn’t shelter in place I know I’ve wandered astray and I need to find my way Feel like it’s out of place but not open up blame The thought of no escape from our careless mistakes Cobwebs are falling out of your ears Blackbirds are nesting on your head.

I was all alone in a city that’s far from home Like a dream I’m told The streets wound around my soul I cannot feel my feet as I walk home The waves beneath the street will guide me along I woke up asleep To the weather that’s patterned deep The rain, the snow, and the wind Did pummel my bruising skin And I can’t seem to find my way outside The wind is blowing behind the red eyes But can’t you touch the growing isles? But can’t you feel your feet beneath the skies?

On the Monday when that church in France was burning, you were laid down. I came in through fast doors Where everyone stood still But you were already gone. I had this feeling you were watching us from above. I had this feeling you were watching us go. Then we walked down to the next room over You were silent; Laying down Your skin was so cold; I’m going through your pockets Like the vacuum of your thoughts I had this feeling you were watching us from above. I had this feeling you were woven inside my thoughts.

Hello. You better say your goodbyes. Because everyone leaves here all alone. No matter how they try. Even if they’re standing there Right by your side We all float up all alone Between the edge of the sky No one here gets out alive So don’t even try denying No one here can leave the way they are behind Deny it. No one here can get out from the light, beside. Denial. No one here can leave the weighted skies tonight. Deny it. Don’t want to be here alone. Don’t want to be here alone. Hello. You better say your goodbyes. Cause everyone leaves here all alone. No matter how they try. Even if they’re all standing by your side, you won’t deny it We all float up all alone from the moment we die. Even you and I.

It’s true We’re getting lost with you. You see We are lost at sea With you The truth can never wash away in spite of you The truth can never Be cast away Just for you. It’s true We are lost with you And you know That we We might never see what’s true The truth can never wash away In spite of you The truth can never ever drown. With you. We can’t give up We can’t give up hope We gotta swim back home We can’t give up We can’t give up hope We gotta swim back home We can’t give up We can’t give up hope We gotta swim back home We can’t give up We can’t give up hope
